Under Construction!

Hey there friends! Thanks so much to KIM for helping me get ahold of some tools to give my blog a little kick! I'm still figuring some things out and will be changing things over time. All my pics are on my old computer, so I have to get them all transfered and then I can post some.

As far as life goes...it just keeps going...and going...and going!!! The boys start school on Monday the 18th. It's actually the latest start date for our area, so we are very thankful. Jake of course is loving the idea of going back to school (he's my self motivator) and Joel is warming up to the idea. We have been praying for their teachers over the summer and are looking forward to seeing who they get.

We had a fun summer with a trip to Branson, a trip to grandma and grandpa's in "Dodgeball City", KS, a couple trips to camp, and lots of swimming and relaxing! We've had a great summer together learning and growing! Of course getting back on a "real" schedule is going to be very welcome at least on my part. We started enforcing school bedtimes this week to get the boys adjusted and let me tell you it went over so well I could hardly believe it! HAHA! If you believe that you don't know my boys! ;o) I heard enough whys, ifs, and buts to last me a lifetime!!! They MIGHT thank me in the morning when I get them up at the school time! Oh wait, that means I have to get up too and this is my last week to sort of (all you moms know what I mean by "sort of") sleep in. Well, we'll see!

I'm headed to get some sleep after watching the Olympic swimming and gymnastics...hmmm time to get out the work-out DVD...maybe this time I'll crack the case instead of just staring at it thinking that somehow by osmosis I'll look like the people on the cover!
