*Snowflakes*

I'm so thankful for my boys who are still amazed by the "little" things in life. Today we were out just as the snow began and they stopped me to have a look at one particular snowflake. I pray they will never loose their excitement over these "little" things that remind us of our great big God! We've been home now for a while and have pulled the shades up in the living room so that we can watch the snow come pouring down. It's been said that no two snowflakes are alike and with all the snow coming down it reminds me of just how great our God is. Can you imagine the creative genius it would take to come up with a unique design for each flake falling outside my window, let alone all the snow falling around the world? The boys and I were talking about how just like the snowflakes God has made each of us unique, not one of us alike, not even twins! So while others are tired of this snow, I'm so thankful for it and the reminder it is of our great and wonderful God who has not only created us with the universal purpose of bringing glory and honor to Him and His name, but within that purpose has fashioned a unique calling for each of us.

"Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know."

Jeremiah 33:3
