8 Months Already

Our little guy is getting SO BIG! SO FAST! I knew it would go quickly, but wasn't prepared for just how quickly.

We are so thankful for the blessings the Lord brings to our lives each day through our boys. They keep us on our toes and teach us so much without even knowing it! Thank you Lord for lending us these dear children and please help us to be faithful to them as we seek to teach them and give them the tools they need to be bright shining lights for You!

Wyatt has been a complete joy! He's a very happy, content baby most of the time. He is going through his "weary of strangers" phase, but does pretty well with the ladies...it's mostly the big guys that scare him! He's doing well with his sleeping, usually taking two naps a day and sleeping 12 hours at night. He squeals with delight every time he sees his brothers and they have a way with him that no one else can copy. The love is thick between the three of them! What a delight they are to our hearts! Wyatt also loves mirrors, bath time and getting lubed up with lotion afterward. He is very ticklish, so we have lots of fun making him laugh. He has his 9 month appointment next month, but is already as big as Joel was at a year! I hope all those clothes I got on clearance last year fit him this summer. :o)

Jacob is going to be a whopping 10 next week! I can't believe it! We are planning a trip to Coco Key for the afternoon on Thursday to celebrate. Hopefully I'll get some pictures up and shift the focus to our middle man for a while. I've always been concerned that the big boys get equal amounts of our attention as our little one and I don't think my posts have reflected that desire very well. Wyatt requires a lot of our attention and the boys are so understanding and helpful. They never ever complain about anything having to do with Wyatt. I couldn't ask for greater big brothers for Him! We sure enjoy our time in the evening with Joel and Jacob after Wyatt has gone down for the night. We are able to spend time with them one on one, reading, working on school projects, or their favorite, playing games! Mama Bear is very competitive when it comes to games so when we play Dutch Blitz the cards are flying! We laugh so much together!
